Chief Financial Officer

Community Action of Eastern Iowa is accepting applications for the senior leadership position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The Position:  The CFO is responsible for all financial record-keeping and reporting aspects of the Community Action of Eastern Iowa, a nonprofit with an annual budget of approximately $18.5 M. Responsible for monitoring the ongoing fiscal compliance, fiscal solvency, and cash position of the organization.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and a minimum of five years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  CPA and fund-based accounting experiences are a plus.

Salary and Benefits:  $85,000+ depending on qualifications and experience.  Benefits offered include group health insurance, participation in the Iowa Public Employees Retirement System (IPERS), group life and long-term disability insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance.
