Start the school year off on the right foot by preparing your staff to confidently support transportation standards and requirements!

Meeting 1303 Subpart F—Transportation requirements can feel like a daunting task. During this morning session we will break down the standards and discuss how your program can feel confident you have effective policies and procedures in place to provide safe transportation to your students while meeting HSPPS.

Course description:

This three-hour session is for transportation managers with all levels of experience. This course will give your staff a comprehensive overview of information to help successively meet transportation compliance and safety requirements. Whether this is a review of previously covered information or an introduction to transportation standards, this course will help build confidence at all levels.

This is also a great opportunity to connect with your transportation peers from across the region and share what is working great in your program, share ideas, share challenges and ask questions. All participants will be part of a newly formed peer networking group. This unique group will be a resource for support and guidance as you move forward.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
1.) Attendees will understand how to meet important safety and compliance requirements related to transportation.
2.) Attendees will understand how to effectively train bus monitors, drivers, parents and students.
3.) Attendees will feel more confident about developing strong policies and procedures to support their transportation program
